It's really good. It feels very important. You could read it right away by getting the Kobo app for computer or phone and creating an account and buying it that way.

"There are not enough bunks for every prisoner assigned to each cell" (the cells hold perhaps 10-100? prisoners).
This is where the US Government (ICE/DHS) sent over 200 people WITHOUT ANY DUE PROCESS and is now arguing it cannot reveal the reasons why (in fact arguing it cannot reveal why it cannot reveal them).

Mar. 11 added some stuff to my little justify program so it interprets
two newlines as a end-of-paragraph and doesn't justify the last line in the
paragraph. Also so it panics with a useful error message on a line that's too long,
rather than the default Rust panic which is ugly.

Mar. 7**5 -- really checking out the "don't use Firefox" option by using Chromium. Hoping it doesn't spy like Chrome. JWZ hates Mozilla now (and has for a while). Reminds me of BOFH saying that "all OS's suck" (or something like that).
mar. 7 ** 4 -- I have some big videos here, and I was trying to find out why Firefox downloads the entire video, which takes a while, rather than issuing requests for ranges of the video, which acts like streaming. Safari and others do this automatically. Googling for answers, I do not find a solution, other than "don't use Firefox for this" or "paste the link into a VLC 'file->open network' dialog". It's so nice when it "just works" in Safari for instance. I would love to find out there is a way to change Firefox's configuration to do this, (as Cory thought there might be), but I haven't found any.

Mar. 7 watched the movie "Breakfast of Champions" yesterday. 1999 production with Bruce Willis, Nick Nolte and others, based on the Kurt Vonnegut novel of the same name. Apparently it was a flop when released, but has recently been re-released. As a Vonnegut fan (big time) I found it to be wonderfully funny and meaningful.
